Immediate Opportunities:
Position: Proposal Manager (Department of Defense (DoD) and Government Programs)
Location: Los Angeles, South Bay area
Advantage SCI is a contractor to the U.S. Federal Government, serving branches of the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, Department of State and other federal agencies. We provide counterintelligence, security, and other support consulting, training, and staffing services to our clients. We also provide limited services to private sector and local and state government. We are looking for an experienced proposal manger to join our team.
The right candidate must have good organization skills and exhibit solid experience with all aspects of the proposal analysis and development process, as well as the demonstrated ability to write and produce successful proposals. You must be able to coordinate and participate in all aspects of the proposal development process.
- Ensure the development and compilation of information from operational and functional elements and subject matter experts to develop successful proposals
- Manage proposal efforts using project management techniques to ensure scope, cost and schedule requirements are met
- Must have attention to detail to ensure proposal submissions are compliant with applicable RFP or RFI instructions
- Confer and coordinate with multi-organizational teams to establish production, quality control, and budgetary standards
- Write and edit proposal narrative as necessary based on input from applicable technical and managerial subject matter experts and provide leadership and work guidance
Mandatory Requirements:
- Proven 5+ years experience with developing winning federal proposals for (non-technical) services
- Demonstrated ability to write and produce successful proposals
Ability to balance multiple projects and tasks to meet deadlines
- Ability to lead and manage others and work-in and facilitate productive team environments
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Highly proficient with the complete Microsoft Suite, Adobe PDF, Sharepoint, and graphic software
- Proposal Management Certification
- Able to travel on short trips if and when required
Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain/maintain a Secret/TS (Top Secret) level clearance. Active clearance preferred.
Position: Law Enforcement Training Program Manager
Location: Texas, California, or the Washington, D.C. geographic regions
Start Date: April to May Timeframe
Advantage SCI is seeking a Project Manager to assist a Federal Agency supporting law enforcement training abroad. This individual will ideally have experience as a project manager in international law enforcement/training and will be fully capable of overseeing services related to tactical training, curriculum development, instructor assignment, travel arrangements, and customized technical assistance in support of the mission requirements set forth by a Federal Government contract. He/she should be located in either the Texas, California, or Washington, D.C., geographic regions and be available for travel abroad.
Government Secret clearance preferred.
Critical functions include, but are not limited to:
- Creating and executing project work plans &revising, as appropriate, to meet changing needs and requirements
- Identifying resources, as needed, &assigning responsibilities according to Task Order
- Managing day-to-day operational aspects of the project and scope of work
- Reviewing deliverables
- Effectively applying standards and methodologies set forth by NAS
- Preparing for and applying quality assurance procedures
- Minimizing project risks
- Ensuring project documents are complete, current, and accurate
- Maintaining effective communication with corporate management
Mandatory Requirements:
- Must possess a valid United States Passport
- Be able to commit to teaching schedules up to one (1) year in advance, with the ability to provide services for up to a five-week period
- Fluency in conversational, written, and verbal Spanish

Position: Law Enforcement Training Instructors

Advantage SCI has a current contract and is seeking language qualified Law Enforcement Training Instructors to assist a Federal Agency supporting law enforcement training abroad. Qualified individuals will have experience in international law enforcement/training and will be fully capable of providing services related to tactical training, curriculum development, and customized technical assistance in support of the mission requirements set forth by a Federal Government contract. Current language qualifications we are seeking include Spanish and French.
Compensation will be a competitive package and commensurate with skills and experience of selected candidates.
Critical functions include, but are not limited to:
- Delivering training at various venues abroad identified by the Government agency
- Developing, rewriting, and/or revising curriculum, course materials, and language services for any training-related requirement
- Providing services related to the agencys courses, special programs, advanced consultations, assessments, reviews, and capability-building activities
- Instructor Certificated
- Adjusting to changing agency needs based on current international and political circumstances, technologies, and law enforcement emphasis
Mandatory Requirements:

- Willingness and ability to travel overseas, if required
